Sizes range from 12mm to 323.9 mm ( NPS 1/4”-DN8 to NPS 12”-DN300) outside diameter with a full tubes schedules ranging from sch5 through double extra heavy.

The seamless stainless steel tubings are usually delivered in 5.0m-8.0m random lengths or cut to fixed lengths. But Walmi can supply seamless stainless steel tubing in most grades exceeding 15m long. All tubes can be cut to customer’s exact requirements.

Stainless Steel Corrugated Tube is usually used in heat exchange equipment. Compared with ordinary seamless steel pipes, Stainless Steel Corrugated Tube has a larger heat exchange area, smaller tube wall thermal resistance.

    Although the wall of the Stainless Steel Corrugated Tube is very thin (0.6-1.2mm), the special free forming process and unique arc shape greatly improve its pressure-bearing capacity. At the same time, the corrugated tube heat exchanger can adapt to a higher working temperature, up to 350°C. Corrugated pipe is a kind of flexible element with certain thermal compensation ability, good adaptability to large working temperature difference, small thermal stress of equipment, and obvious superiority over ordinary seamless steel pipe.
  • The corrugated tube has a self-cleaning effect through thermal expansion and contraction, has the performance of not easy to scale, and compensates for the thermal stress caused by the temperature difference;
    Heat exchanger fouling, corrosion and blockage have always been a difficult problem to solve, especially when the water quality is poor, the water treatment effect is not good, the gas medium contains impurities or chemical reactions are prone to form fouling substances. The problem is particularly prominent. In the lighter case, the function of the heat exchanger decreases, the working condition deteriorates, the resistance becomes larger, and the energy consumption increases, while the worst case is that the heat exchanger is blocked and cannot operate, so the workload of maintenance, cleaning or renewal of the heat exchanger will also increase. Therefore, the use of Stainless Steel Corrugated Tubes for the tube bundle in the heat exchanger will completely solve this problem.

  • Stainless steel corrugated pipe has uniform stress distribution and strong corrosion resistance
    Because the stainless steel corrugated tube adopts a unique forming process, the feature of this process is that during the forming process, the deformation is not formed by the forced flow of metal in the mold, but a free-flowing “soft forming” process. Because there is no forced deformation, the forming process will not cause stress concentration, small residual stress, uniform stress distribution, no intercrystalline defects, and strong stress corrosion resistance.
  • The stainless steel corrugated tube has a long service life and high cost performance.

Walmi is a manufacturer of tube sheet, baffle and flanges for boiler, heat exchanger, pressure vessel, super heater.  They are often made from a round, flattened forged disc with a few or thousands of drilling holes, the diameter of the holes are same with the outside diameter of the tubes which will be inserted into the tubesheet. The tube-hole pattern or pitch are relative to each other stainless steel tubesheet within the shell and change tubes distance, angle and flow direction to provide max turbulence and tube surface contact for maximum heat transfer effectiveness.

Walmi typically manufacturer and supply the critical, internal heat exchanger tube sheets and baffles directly to OEM drawings to guarantee the exacting specifications of finished products as designed, released and issued from customer.

Walmi  is a manufacturer of slip on flange as per ANSI/ASME B16.5. The bore of slip on flange is slightly bigger than the outside diameter of pipe which it is to be fitted, so the flange can slip over the pipe, and then is welded on both sides to be connected to the pipe.

Walmi  typically supply slip on flange with a raised or flat face. The standard raised face height is 1.6mm (1/16″) for slip on pipe flanges under 400#, 6.35mm(1/4″) for 400# and up. The raised face slip on flanges have to be welded to the pipes.

Slip on flanges are used to block the end of a pipe system or valve, which are widely used in petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industries.

Walmi manufacture stainless steel flange welding neck type as per ANSI/ASME B16.5. Welding neck SS flange includes a long tapered hub and the outside diameter of hub at the beveling end of the welding neck is same with the outside diameter of pipe which it is to be fitted, so the SS flange can be directly welded to the end of the stainless steel pipe or stainless steel butt-welding fittings.

Walmi typically supply stainless steel flange welding neck  type with a raised face(RF), flat face(FF) or Ring Type Joint (RTJ) face. The standard raised face height is 1.6mm (1/16″) for welding neck pipe flanges under 400#, 6.35mm(1/4″) for 400# and up.

The hub of stainless steel welding neck flange transfers stress from the flange to the pipe instead as well as reducing the stress concentration from the base of the hub, so stainless steel welding neck flanges are always used in high pressure piping system.

The stainless steel elbow that walmi supply is butt-welding fittings, the main function of elbow is to change the flow direction in a piping system. The standard angles of stainless steel elbows are 90°, 45°, and 180°, so they are named 90° elbows, 45° elbows and 180° elbows, 90° elbows and 180° elbows are also named 90° bends and 180° bends.

Both  90° elbows and 180° Elbows are available as both long radius and short radius, while 45° elbows are only available as long radius. ‘Long Radius’ means that the center-to-end dimension is one and a half times the nominal pipe size, namely R=1.5D. ‘Short Radius’ means that the center-to-end dimension is equal to the nominal pipe size, namely R=D.

The stainless steel tee that walmi supply is butt-welding steel pipe fittings, the main function of tee is to make a branch of the flow in a piping system. The stainless steel tees are often available with butt-welding equal tees or reducing tees, Equal tee is also called Straight Tee.

For equal tee/straight tee, the center-to-end dimension of branch is same with the run, while for reducing tee, the center-to-end dimension of branch is smaller than the run to obtain the desired flow and pressure through the piping system.

Stainless Steel Reducer

Stainless Steel Pipe Fitting – Reducer

The stainless steel reducer that walmi supply is butt-welding stainless steel pipe fitting, the main function of reducer is to reduce the flow in a piping system or reduce the line from a larger to a smaller pipe size. As a result, the flow pressure will be obviously increased. The stainless steel reducers are often available with butt-welding Concentric Reducers or Eccentric Reducers.

For stainless steel concentric reducer, the center line of the inlet and the outlet are the same, while for stainless steel eccentric reducer, the smaller outlet end is off center to the larger end, which means that there is an off center flow through the pipeline. Stainless steel concentric reducers are often used in situations where the reducer is in a vertical run of pipe. stainless steel eccentric reducers are often used in horizontal runs of pipe.
