Walmi manufacture stainless tube and U tube as per ASTM/ASME SA213 with materials of 304, 304H, 321, 321H and 316L. Stress relieved and Hydrostatic testing after U-Bending are all available in our factory.

Sizes range from 12.7mm to 38 mm ( NPS 1/4”- DN8 to NPS 1 1/4”- DN32) outside diameter with a full tubes schedules ranging from sch10S through double extra heavy.

The stainless tube and U tubes are delivered in fixed lengths. What’s more, Walmi Stainless Steel can supply U tubes exceeding 35m long before U-bending. All tubes can be cut to customer’s exact requirements.

Stainless Steel Flanges Lap Joint type-ANSI/ASME

 Lapped Joint Flange – Stainless Steel ANSI/ASME

Walmi manufacture lapped joint flange / backing flange as per ANSI/ASME B16.5, which are used in conjunction with stainless steel lapped joint Stub Ends. There is a curved radius at the intersection of the bore and flange face of lap joint flange, which allows lap joint flange to accommodate a stub end. The stub end is welded to the pipe which it is to be fitted, while the lap joint flange slip directly over the pipe and is free to rotate around the stub end.

Walmi typically supply lapped joint flange without raised face.

Stainless steel lapped joint pipe flanges are often used in piping systems which require frequent dismantling for inspection, cleaning or replacement. While bolting pressure is transmitted to the gasket from the lap joint flange against the back of the pipe lap to produce a seal, the pressure holding capacity of lap joint flange is comparatively lower, which is often used in lower pressure requirements.

Threaded Flange-ANSI/ASME

  Threaded Flange ANSI/ASME

Walmi manufacture threaded flange as per ANSI/ASME B16.5.  Threaded flange is also named screwed flange, which has a threaded bore and the bore is fractionally larger than the outside diameter of pipe which it is to be fitted, and the pipe has external threads, then it can be assembled with the pipe without welding.

Walmi typically supply threaded flange with a raised face (RF), flat face (FF) or Ring Type Joint (RTJ) face. The standard raised face height is 1.6mm (1/16″) for socket welding pipe flanges under 400#, 6.35mm(1/4″) for 400# and up.

The dimensions of threaded flanges are similar with slip-on flanges, but threaded flanges are often used for small diameter and low pressure requirements, which are not suitable for applications where heating or stresses are present, because leakage through the threads is possible.

Stainless Steel Flanges Blind type-ANSI/ASME

Blind Flange – Stainless Steel ANSI/ASME 

Walmi manufacture blind flange as per ANSI/ASME B16.5, which doesn’t have a bore as other kind of flanges. Blind flange always works as a seal.

Walmi typically supply blind flange with a raised face (RF), flat face (FF) or Ring Type Joint (RTJ) face. The standard raised face height is 1.6mm (1/16″) for blind flanges under 400#, 6.35mm(1/4″) for 400# and up. The raised face blind flanges have to be welded to the pipes.

Stainless steel blind flanges are often used to provide positive closer on the ends of pipes, valves, pumps or pressure vessel openings, which require easy access to the pipe inside line for inspection purpose. Stainless steel bland flanges are suited for high temperature and pressure applications, which are widely used in water conservancy, power plant, pressure vessel, oil & gas, steam and pipe fittings.

The stainless steel cross that walmi supply is butt-welding stainless steel pipe fittings, the main function of cross is to make a branch of the flow in a piping system. The stainless steel crosses are often available with butt-welding equal crosses or reducing crosses, Equal cross is also called Straight Cross.

For equal cross/straight cross, the center-to-end dimension of branch is same with the run, while for reducing cross, the center-to-end dimension of branch is smaller than the run to obtain the desired flow and pressure through the piping system.

SS Fittings – Cap

The ss fittings – cap is also named stainless steel end cap, which walmi supply is butt-welding pipe fitting. The main function of cap is to block off or seal the end of a pipeline in a piping system. The stainless steel cap is fitted by welding the beveled end of the cap over the open line that requires blocking off or sealing.

The advantages of stainless steel butt-weld end cap include preventing leakage permanently, adding strength and power to the piping structure and reducing pressure losses, but the stainless steel cap is firmly fixed, which can’t be unbolted to access the pipeline like a blind flange.

Stainless Steel Stub End

SS Pipe Fittings – Stub End

The ss pipe fittings stub end is also named stainless steel lap joint stub end, which walmi supply is butt-welding ss pipe fittings. The main function of stub end is to connect pipes together in a piping system along with a stainless steel lap joint flange/backing flange. The stainless steel stub ends are used in conjunction with stainless steel lap joint flanges/backing flanges. The stub end is welded to the pipe which it is to be fitted, while the lap joint flange slip directly over the pipe and is free to rotate around the stub end.

Stainless steel lap joint stub end and lap joint pipe flanges are often used in piping systems which require frequent dismantling for inspection, cleaning or replacement. While bolting pressure is transmitted to the gasket from the lap joint flange against the back of the pipe lap to produce a seal, the pressure holding capacity of lap joint flange is comparatively lower, which is often used in lower pressure requirements.
